GALVESTON – A Brownsville man is suing his company in Galveston County District Court over injuries he allegedly suffered two years back while working on a vessel.

Robin Taliancich has filed a personal injury lawsuit against his employer G & H Towing Co., claiming that the defendant was negligent with the maintenance of the ship Titan. The complaint was filed on 19th April.

The literal situation that resulted in Taliancich’s complaint has not been detailed in court documents, but the suit states that Taliancich sustained several and painful injuries to his back and shoulder, among other parts of his body, while working on the ship.

According to the complaint, Taliancich’s injuries occurred as an immediate result of the unsafe and unseaworthy condition of the Titan.

Taliancich is seeking damages for physical pain, mental anguish, lost wages, and medical costs. He is seeking a jury trial as well.

The case has been assigned to Galveston County 122nd District Court Judge John Ellisor.
