GALVESTON – A railroad worker is suing BNSF Railway Co. over injuries he allegedly sustained during the job. Michael Daniel Anderson argues that he was injured in his left ankle, left leg and other parts of his body on March 20 due to his employer’s failure to maintain the ground conditions at its premises in Galveston County. Anderson has filed a lawsuit against the railway company on 14th May in Galveston County District Court. According to the complaint, the negligent acts of the defendants were violations of safety rules and industry standards. As a result of his injuries, Anderson experienced pain, suffering, mental anguish and disfigurement, the complaint states. Anderson is seeking a jury trial and unspecified damages. Galveston County 122nd District Court Judge John Ellisor will be presiding over the case.
