A woman is suing the driver for causing her injuries in a collision. Michelle Mann has filed a lawsuit in Jefferson County District Court on September 8. According to that suit, the woman was riding in a vehicle driven by Heather Erwin on Fifth Street in Leesville, La., on September 13, 2008, when defendant Jerome L. Wells turned in front of Erwin’s vehicle and had a collision with it. As a result of the collision, Mann suffered pain, headaches, and injury to her neck, left shoulder, left arm and back. The woman also incurred medical expenses, the complaint says. Additionally, Mann lost earnings and suffered physical impairment, physical pain and mental anguish after the collision, according to the lawsuit. Mann is seeking an unspecified compensation, in addition to pre-judgment interest, costs and any other relief to which she may be entitled. Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, will be presiding over the case.
